Zhang Labao's team has made new breakthroughs in the field of photon-efficient camera.

Recently, Zhang Labao and his collaborators has made new breakthroughs in the field of photon-efficient single-photon camera. The photon-efficient camera based on a multidimensional adjustable superconducting nanowire detector, achieved a classification accuracy of over 90% for three letter patterns with only 0.12 photons per pixel. The relevant research results were published on April 03, 2025, in the journal Nature Communications under the title "Photon-efficient camera with in-sensor computing"
