2025 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Europe and China, the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the "Chinese Language Day" by the United Nations, and the 5th anniversary of the creation of the "International Chinese Language Day" brand by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. From April 20th to 25th, on the occasion of the Chinese Language Day of the United Nations, 黑料社 Traditional Instruments Orchestra was appointed by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation to tour perform in Europe.

Dance of the Golden Snake, Jasmine, Camel Caravan Bells…. In 6 performances in 4 cities in France, Le Mans, Orleans, Angers and Nantes, NJU students used their fingertips to lead their French friends to feel China, to appreciate China's ethnic customs, magnificent mountains and rivers, and ancient elegance. The music fully demonstrated the charm of the ancient oriental civilization. The Orchestra presented a French folk song "The Land of Grapes" to the French audience, which was newly arranged with Chinese traditional instruments, triggering cheers and deep resonance in the audience.




Everywhere, the Orchestra was warmly welcomed by the local audience. In Le Mans, the French youth performed the most representative Chinese dragon dance, and the students of the Chinese language class personally wrote "Welcome to Le Mans" "Hello" and "Thanks for your hard work" in Chinese. In Orléans, the audience went up to the stage to experience traditional Chinese instruments such as Erhu, Guzheng, Zhongruan and Suona, and felt the unique charm of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.In Angers, nearly 200 teachers and students stood up and cheered repeatedly, expressed their love for traditional Chinese folk music and culture on blackboards.In Nantes, the audience was reluctant to leave the stage after the performance,French youths of different ages took the initiative to come to the stage to ask questions about the characteristics of Chinese traditional musical instruments and the cultural integration between China and France.





Next, NJU Traditional Instruments Orchestra will go to other cities in France and Belgium, Norway to perform , with notes as the medium, playing the sound of Chinese culture in the times, with music as a link, to build up a bridge of friendship between Chinese and European youth!
